JOHANNES KOORNHOF

For approximately 40 years Hannes was a minister in various congregations. Following his retirement he was integral in setting up the Amicus Trust SA in conjunction with a number of businessman. The aim of the Trust is to financially and otherwise support institutions which effectively provide adult skills training in the greater Stellenbosch area.
WILLIE KOOPSTAD
Upon completion of his Diploma in Social Work he worked for the Diaconal Services of the church in community development. Thereafter he was a social worker in the community corrections programme of the Department of Correctional Services. Willie completed his Master’s degree in Theology in 2004 and is currently fulfilling his passion for serving God and his fellow man while in the role of minister at the United Reformed Church Kylemore congregation.
DWIGHT BOURBON-LEFTLEY
Finances
Dwight stumbled upon the Stellemploy directorship upon completion of his clerkship and a number of years as auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, when in 2009 he was co-opted by two caring partners to support their client. With the instruction to take care of the client, build good relationships and provide excellent service a long standing relationship, which started when Dwight served on the PwC-Stellemploy audit team from 1999 to 2008, was cemented.
Dwight qualified as Chartered Accountant SA in 2000 and after initially working in the audit field he has been working as financial manager in the private sector since 2008.
LINDA JACOBS
Linda is a qualified Social Worker and currently works as Project manager at the Stellenbosch Work Center for Persons with Disabilities. Previously she was the Project manager at Matie Community Services for 32 years.
VIRGINIA JUMAT
Although completing a Diploma in Education Virginia worked in the finance departments of Gilbeys and the Cape Saw Mill in Stellenbosch and later completed a Financial Diploma. Now retired, she is involved with the Rynse Congregation in Stellenbosch where she serves as Church secretary.
CHRIS BESTER
With a B.Com degree and completed accounting articles Chris consults as a project manager in the retail sector, focussing on business and financial system changes. As a member of the Stellenbosch United Church he is involved in some of their social support programmes in Kayamandi.
